Degree Programs

The BOLD degree completion program currently offers two fully accredited (Western Association of Schools and Colleges-WASC) degrees from Biola University. Both degrees are designed for the adult learner who desires to complete a college degree while maintaining full-time life responsibilities. Courses are taught in a small, personal group environment by esteemed Biola faculty.
Prospective students may be awarded up to 30 units of credit for prior life or work related learning experience.
Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership
The organizational leadership major focuses on the development of skills in human relations, business, communication, ethics and leadership. This is a preferred program for adults preparing for a wide range of management and leadership roles in for-profit and nonprofit organizations and corporations.
Duration: 18 Months
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
The psychology major emphasizes psychosocial development, biblical integration, research and foundational theories of psychological study. The program prepares students for employment in a variety of fields, which may include education, ministry, business and human services. The coursework also satisfies the prerequisites for graduate programs in clinical psychology, marriage and family therapy, educational psychology, school counseling and other related fields of study.

Certificate in Organizational Leadership
The BOLD Certificate in Organizational Leadership is designed for working adults with at least five years of work experience in a management or supervisory position. The program is for those who desire to benefit from the interdisciplinary major without necessarily pursuing the Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership.
