Greetings from the Department of Communication Studies! We are one of the larger majors on the Biola campus because students soon realize that one of the top skills employers desire is the ability to communicate effectively in oral and written communication. The Communication Studies Department offers students the opportunity to major in either Communication Studies or Theatre. Through the practical and theoretical courses offered, we provide each student with the opportunity to learn and practice the skills of influential communication. We exist to produce committed Christian graduates who are adept at constructing ethical oral, written, and performative forms of messages.
