Recognized as outstanding conductors, performers, composers and writers, the Biola music faculty provide students with highly challenging and relevant music instruction while nurturing their artistry in a Christian environment. Faculty maintain significant involvement in the Los Angeles arts community. Studio faculty are selected from the finest freelance musicians in the Los Angeles area, offering instruction from the best in the professional music world.
Guest Artists
In addition to its distinguished faculty, Biola also hosts a number of world-class artists who perform and conduct master classes throughout the year.
Among those who frequent the campus is famed pianist, Menahem Pressler, Biola's Artist-in-residence. Mr. Pressler is one of many respected musicians who recognize Biola as being one of today's most prestigious Christian university music programs.
