The Film Music Guild will be presenting their annual conference at Biola University on Saturday, October 3, 2009. Guest speakers include director Pete Docter (Monsters, Inc., Up), editor and composer John Ottman (Valkyrie, Superman Returns, X-Men 2), and score coordinator Allison Wright Clark (Pirates of the Caribbean) to name a few.
“Our project is designed to bring together film makers and composers from various schools to network, collaborate and discuss the industry and art of using music in film. We believe that the best way to learn about the industry short of making films is to meet and learn from those who are already veterans there,” says Film Music Guild President Dave Martina.
